We saw Jay a few years back only because Jerry Seinfeld canceled
his show at the last minute. It was OK, but didn’t feel he was a good substitute
for Jerry. 50% of the jokes we had already heard on the tonight show.
I also would have loved to have seen Bob Newhart. I love his
dry humour. Steve Martin and Ron White are on my bucket list too.
Two of the comedians we have seen recently (last 7 years)
are Brad Garrett and Ray Romano. Both were great and well worth the money.

Your fast....I was just going to post that I read Don Rickles passed away.
I bet you I can stop gambling.
Julie, yes, Jay Leno still performs in Las Vegas and elsewhere. I saw him once and loved his performance. He talked for around an hour and a half and had everyone smiling and chuckling. NOT laughing out loud, but like I said smiling and chucking. A good show!
A Jay Leno story! My deceased aunt's caretaker used to date Jay Leno when she and Jay were in high school. I asked my aunt to ask her caretaker what Jay was like while they were dating. The caretaker said Jay was a real nice guy, always kind, always smiling and always fun.
I saw Kevin James, the King of Queens, at Paris and thought his show was pretty good too. It was similar in nature to Leno's show. Whimsical, but true observations of life, family and friends!
Describing Las Vegas to someone who has never been there is like trying to describe the color purple to a blind
Another comedian that I forgot to mention and saw in Las Vegas is Rita Rudner. She had a show at the Venetian. I thought she was pretty funny. She good-naturedly poked fun at the differences of men and women.
