Most important item on your packing list? |

When packing for Vegas (or any vacation really) what is the most important thing on your packing list (other than gambling money). We were talking about this
earlier and I've realized for me its shoes. No not a pair to match every outfit, no not sky high hooker heels. Comfortable shoes that allow me to walk
around all day without causing pain in my feet, knees, back. The worse my knee gets the more important the right shoes are when it comes down to enjoying my
vacation and getting the most out of it.

Well, seeing as how you've got the cash/travelers checks covered, next most important item to me is copies of confirmations to the hotel(s) I'm staying
at, along with the date, time and who I talked to.
I don't like starting my Vegas vacation on a bad note and have needed this info more than once over the years to settle a dispute over room type and fully comped. And I've never lost a dispute when I've had that info at hand. |

Wow its really difficult to choose between the wires that recharge my phone and camera, the comfortable shoes that keep me and my knees and feet going, and the
coupons that make my vacation more affordable (or my bankroll a little bigger!)
But I guess I will choose credit cards - because if I forgot any of the above I can buy them. |

I never go anywhere without
my little (understandable) travel alarm clock.
I am afraid I might miss something!!!

Well aside from the wallet (with money, credit card and passport) I have to say Coupons. |

can't survive without all of my electronic toys either, so that bag of chargers, wires, etc. are indispensable. I forgot my phone charger on one trip,
but luckily there's a Best Buy over on Maryland Pkwy.

cell phone charger is very important, we use the phones constantly while on vacation to keep track of each other. Much easier than wandering around a huge
casino trying to find someone who is probably also moving around. I just have to tease him on the sheer amount of stuff he needs to bring with. His smaller
carryon has his toilerties and the rest is gadgets and wires. Suprised the scanners dont see it as a bomb

Money, travellers cheques are a given right? | #11 | ||

Number one is my passport. As much as I love to go to Vegas, I want to go home too so that means a passport. That must
make it an necessity like oxygen so I get a second choice, right? After that it would be my gadgets - American phones, one Canadian phone, & for a longer
trip (7+ days) a laptop. Then the quandry of aching feet. Almost tied with the phones. Third choice - heck - I'd wear the same clothes (washing every
night) if it meant I were in Vegas. Me, comfy shoes & an emergency connection to husband or outer world, I'd make do in Vegas. Somehow I'd tough
it out.

Comfortable shoes, couple of good books to read at the pool, ear plugs and nasal spray for the plane and of course my camera to capture all
those wonderful sights in Las Vegas

I would have to say my wallet and its contents, everything else is replaceable as long as I have my wallet.
Common sense is not found at the bottom of a purse. |
