Posts: 15 06/22/09 10:35 AM	Tags : None Hi all. I got lucky and a friend invited me to share a comped flight and room in AC in early August. Now I will know how it feels to be treated like a real gambler. We will be staying at Cesears. I have only been there once so I would appreciate any hints, including food and where is the best place to play the slots. Since she is there on a Total Rewards comp, I assume we will mostly be at Harrah properties, but have always wanted to see Borgota.

Posts: 38 06/23/09 5:00 PM	I don't know if I'm an AC expert but we live in NJ and visit AC several times a month. Caesar's is a great place to stay since it's in the middle of the Boardwalk. If you have a choice of rooms, ask for a corner room in the Centurion tower with a view of the ocean. We mostly eat in the Diamond lounges at Harrah's properties. The views at Caesar's and Bally's are the best and they have great desserts at Caesar's. Unlike LV, they have full meal buffets at all the Diamond lounges. Other than that we eat at the buffets-no fancy food for us. We like the buffet at Showboat but Virginia City buffet at Bally's is also very good. I think there is a shuttle to Borgata from the Boardwalk but, since we alsways have a car, I don't knoiw much about it. You can get a shuttle from any of the Harrah's properties to the marina but then you would have to walk to Borgata-a lovely walk if it's not too hot. You can also take the jitney but, again, not sure where you get it. If you have any other questions, I will try to answer them. PS. Goldtooth Gertie's in Bally's Wild Wild West casino is our favorite breakfast place for bagels, pastries, etc.

Posts: 369 06/25/09 5:53 PM	Hi there and I hope you enjoy your trip to AC. We go there quite often and stay at the Borgata. Jeff gave you good ideas . They have a Johnny Rockets at Bally's if you like eating there. The Pier at Caesar's has some good eating places and the Borgata buffet is really good and so is Bread n Butter a good place for breakfast and sandwiches at the Borgata. As for slots, I cannot tell you where the lucky slots are at since I think the slots are a hit and miss thing. If you are on the right machine at the right time LUCKY YOU !!!
