I read on another board that two Wheel of Fortune jackpots were hit at McCarran recently. There was no proof of the story just somone posting. I've never seen anyone hit it big at the airport.

Oh, it does happen, Bill! I've never seen it, but I remember seeing a news article where one of the earlier
Megabucks was hit at McCarran. Looks like the 25-cent WOF was hit in Terminal A on May 10th:

I have never won anything big as I am fearful of hitting a couple/few thousand bucks and then missing my flight home!!....
 ..Dang....that would be tough....
Every so often though, you see on these boards where someone did hit and has had to wait to cash out or carried a bunch of coin onto the plane..... |

Airport is the only place my wife ever hit a jackpot. 2000.00 on a diamond double Machine.

irishmick - no more coins at the airport -only tickets are issued. I'd love to be delayed flying out for winning the Wheel of Fortune or Mega Bucks

I won $750 on $00.25 WOF at the airport - sure needed it, too! :

I have had good luck at the airport too. I often put $20 to $40 dollars in the Star Wars slots and win a good bonus round of $300 or so. Then I have the WOF
quarter machines by my gate on which I have won $250 and $750. Another time when WOF didn't like me I won $1000 on Deuces Wild $1 Video poker. I am
hoping to graduate to the MegaBucks soon
