Whenever I see and person in the military I always walk up to them, look them straight in the eyes and say "Thanks for serving..." and extend my
hand..
Please say Thanks from the Monkey.... Destiny is often found on the road one takes to avoid it. |

So glad to read that your son is alright, albeit a little dinged up. I have nothing but kudos, pride and thanks to the men and women serving overseas. And deep
sorrow for the families of those that have given their lives.

Tell that guy thanks from all of us!! Also to be careful as he is not bullet proof at home either!!
One of my friends is/was a paratrooper and made umpteen jumps with out injury! He had been home around a few weeks when he cleaned his roof gutters of leaves..YEP, ladder leg sunk into the flower bed and he fell over onto the sidewalk! Only fell from a few rungs but that was enough. Broke BOTH wrists and you can imagine what that in tails in everyday living..Casts up to the elbow on both arms....
