I think I like going with daughter best. She and I like to do a lot of the same things. She likes to stay at the Rio because she really likes the pool and I like the atmosphere so it's a good fit for both of us. We do some sightseeing, eating, shows and just lazing around.

I have driven and stayed at Laughlin...It was just OK as far as a place to gamble, drink and eat. The drive was well worth it. It is not like anything I get to see. It is to much for a day trip I feel like you need to stay a day or two.

Whether I go solo or with someone else, those are my priorities. Seeing a show or a lounge act (like Big Elvis) is more likely to happen when I'm solo, but lounge acts come into the picture more frequently when it's just me and my Mom. What we have done in the past is have breakfast then play for an hour or so then head out to Red Rock and drive the loop.
